CASE Parking Real Time Count Data Takes the Guess Work Out of Parking Availability

Ace Parking, ParkMe and CASE Parking collaboration alleviate uncertainty for parking space availability.

San Diego’s Downtown area traffic is consistently congested with a typical 20% to 30% of traffic being drivers in search of a place to park. Studies show that there are plenty of spaces to park – however drivers do not know where the available spaces are located.

Ace Parking has taken the first step in providing a leg up on the competition by feeding live occupancy counts directly to the ParkMe smartphone application, ultimately driving traffic to the lots with available parking. “To Ace, this solution represents another example of how we can better service our customers. Downtown San Diego’s 315 B Street, is an open-air parking lot across from the Civic Center Plaza and is the first lot Ace Parking has instrumented to provide real time parking availability to downtown parkers.
