Reconnecting with our existing relationships and establishing new ones are an integral part of AeroParker’s vision and mission.
AeroParker showcased a ready-made simulation game which illustrated how to handle yield management with bucket list pricing.
Our goal was to make the AeroParker yield simulator game engaging but to also show how to maximise revenue through yield management tactics.
Yield management tactics that included:
- Flexible daily prices
- Lead time pricing
- Upgrades and cross selling
- Bucket pricing
Contenders were asked to balance the parking price and occupancy of two fictional car parks – a premium car park and an economy car park – using the tactics above to try and earn more than their competition. Congratulations to Team B who achieved the highest ranking results with the simulator game.
It was good to see so many airports who have a vested interest with pre-booking car parks and how they understood the importance of embedding this into their revenue strategy to maximize their non-aeronautical revenue.
