AN ACCENT FOR A ROMAN FORT
The access point to a well-known Roman fort is to have a Metric Accent S2 pay and display machine.
Howsesteads is one of the outstanding middle stretches of Hadrians Wall in Northumberland National Park.
The new parking machine is being installed in a car park alongside the National Trust Visitor Centre while older Metric Auto Slot machines will control access points to other sections of Hadrians Wall.
One of these points will be the Once Brewed Visitor Centre at Bardon Mill near Hexham.
