An end in sight for fiddly expenses: Company parking claims made easy...
Finance directors, fleet managers, accounts departments and employees can wave goodbye to hours of expenses claims paperwork with the launch of RingGo Corporate.
Companies signing up to the service will enable employees to pay for parking without cash at more than 1200 sites across the UK on a business-provided RingGo account.
The UK's leading phone parking service allows users to pay for their parking by phone in under a minute, without having to hoard coins or visit a pay and display machine.
Business users have the same system, but motorists listed in a company scheme are automatically recognized by their mobile phone number or vehicle registration, and are offered the option of paying with RingGo Corporate. As they accept, the charge is automatically debited from a pre-paid Company account.
With employers paying the parking costs directly, the service removes the need for "pay-and-claim" parking expenses, as well as providing businesses with a consolidated VAT invoice, for tax recording purposes. Reports, relating to parking patterns and costs can also be downloaded from the secure website https://Corporate.myRingGo.com, providing a wealth of management information which would otherwise not be available.
RingGo Technical Director, Joanna Miller says: "At least 30 per cent of our regular customers use RingGo for business parking - so although downloading VAT receipts from the 'myRingGo' site is easy, the obvious step is to cut out this process, and let employers pay direct.
"Within the last quarter, ten separate employers have approached us asking if we could offer a consolidated service for their employees - primarily to make parking easier but also because it cuts out unnecessary red tape and streamlines their company accounting processes."
With RingGo Corporate, businesses pay a monthly fee on a sliding scale depending on the number of employees registered for the scheme. Packages are available from 3.75 per month for small teams of up to six employees, through to 85 per month for those with 120 registered.
