Arivo's Smart Solution for Steiermärkische Sparkasse Provides Efficient Car Park Management

Different user groups and authorizations make the 150 parking spaces of the car park at Steiermärkische Sparkasse headquarters a showcase project for the efficiency of Arivo‘s digital parking system.

The private parking lot of the headquarters of the bank is located in the city center of Graz. Its 150 parking spaces are used for customers, employees, suppliers and external long-term parkers.

A big advantage of the modern parking system is the automatic license plate recognition and vehicle detection with a paperless paying option at the exit. In addition, it is also possible to register customers upfront the appointment through an invitation management tool. Customers can access and exit the car park without using any parking ticket.

Steiermärkische Sparkasse can manage the whole parking area in a very flexible way. Users can access the car park seamlessly thanks to the fast and reliable license plate recognition.

One-third of the parking lots is utilized multiple times a day and is available for customers and suppliers. There are about 350 customer invitations on average per day.

“The special highlights of Arivo‘s smart parking system are the complete overview and control of the usage and capacity of our car park at any time. We had really complex requirements but Arivo was constantly focused on the optimization of the product in this project. There is a plan to roll out the option to use the car park at the weekend for employees later this year”, says Karl-Heinz Jöbstl, real estate, and building manager at Steiermärkische Sparkasse.
 
 For Steiermärkische the maintenance-free system means lower installation costs, less time needed to manage the parking system and lower administration costs.

Arvo's smart software allows for the analysis of the parking space usage and the flow of visitors. Thus, the efficiency of the car park increased and the workload for the reception was significantly reduced.
