arwe strategically repositions itself

For over 43 years, arwe has provided high-quality vehicle services for automobile manufacturers, car dealerships, car rental services, leasing companies and car-sharing providers.

Through targeted growth in Germany and the consistent implementation of the expansion strategy in other European countries, we have evolved from a medium-sized vehicle service provider into a European service group over the past five years.

As a consequence of this successful expansion, the business fields and the service portfolio were enhanced as well as the number of customers and sites. This results in the need to adapt arwe’s corporate structure to this development and to make the individual business fields more transparent.

As per 1 October 2015, the business activities Automotive Services (service for automobile manufacturers, subsidiaries and dealership groups as well as the subsidiary Car-King GmbH) and Mobility Service (CarSharing, Corporate CarSharing, OEM Mobility und CarButler) will be spun off from arwe Service GmbH and incorporated in the newly established companies arwe Automotive Service GmbH and arwe Mobility Service GmbH.

arwe Service GmbH will be renamed arwe CarRental Service GmbH and focus exclusively on the service for car rental services and the nation-wide transfer of vehicles through the subsidiary CAR24 GmbH in the future.

Together with the international subsidiaries arwe Service France S.A.S., Fleet Care Services S.L. (Spain), Direct Valeting Limited (UK), arwe Service Austria GmbH and arwe Personal&Invest GmbH, the new companies are placed under arwe Holding GmbH for organizational purposes.

By establishing the individual companies, we will sharpen our market image, customer access, our quality and the service portfolio. Overall, we will become more clearly, concisely and transparently perceptible to our customers.
