Automated Valet has unveiled another application to enhance its award-winning valet operating system, AVPM. The application is created to manage accounts and covers everything from validations to rates and invoices. Its another feature that will improve operations with AVPM by streamlining service and controlling revenue.
"This is a complicated aspect of the business", says Automated Valet Founder and CEO Ken Gulec. "We've taken out a few steps for the operator, but added the security of automation. Its a win-win for everybody involved including the customer."
One capability the feature offers is the creation of master accounts for vendors offering validations. This includes validations printed directly from the operating system for each master account and total accounting of every validation tendered and all payments from the vendor.
The system also makes it possible to implement an unlimited number of rates. Operators can charge different customers different rates and even customize rates by the day and hour with no maximum combination. This saves time and labor by allowing the operator to set up rates for extended periods of time. Weekend and evening rates can be programmed during regular business hours.
For customers with monthly accounts, the system tracks use and sends invoices automatically. The technology eliminates human error and prevents mistakes in billing that undermine customers loyalty. The accounts receivable application also control revenue by ensuring invoices are sent on time at each billing period and that any delinquent accounts are automatically brought to the operators attention.
Imagine not dealing with complicated programming for rate changes or mountains of paperwork for invoicing. This is the application to eliminate all that effort. And the results will be more accurate, Gulec says.
The accounts receivable feature is compatible with the AVPM system and comes with Automated Valets 24-hour customer service.
