Automated Valet customizes King Airport Parking valet operation at Jacksonville Airport

Jacksonville, Fla. February 2009 Every airport is a busy and complicated facility with high concentrations of air, auto and foot traffic. Automated Valet has recently completed a highly specialized installation at the King Airport Parking in Jacksonville, Fla. including AVPM Mobile, Enterprise, mobile access, onsite operation board and accommodations for the operations extensive rate table.
Automated Valet CEO Ken Gulec says his technology team has once again surpassed all expectations with this customized installation.
There are a lot of tough requirements for any kind of operation at an airport, he says. The technology we put together for King enables the valet operation to provide reliable and profitable service to its customers in a setting where good customer service is challenging and essential.
King Airport Parking.jpgKing Airport Parking has used other revenue control systems in the past, but chose AVPM Mobile for its recent upgrade because of its monitoring, reporting and revenue control features. In addition, AVPM Enterprise gives valet management the power to oversee the site from anywhere in the world. They can prepare reports, complete payroll, and monitor employees and revenue from their headquarters miles away from the site.
Alex Sivar, President and CEO of King Airport Parking said his company chose Automated Valet because of its user friendly features and ability to reduce processing time. Since the installation, Sivar has seen positive changes at his facility.
A great deal of payroll hours have been saved and our total revenue and customer satisfaction have increased considerably over last year, he says.
King Reservation.jpgAutomated Valet also created an online reservation system that is connected to the King Airport Parking main database and integrated with the flight data base a technology that is not offered by any other valet system in the world. When valet customers complete their reservation, they are automatically emailed their AVPM Valet Boarding pass encoded with their complete itineraries. Valet information is streamlined with flight details so when the customers present valet boarding pass at the drop off area, everything gets transferred to AVPM system automatically. This system is also equipped to take customers requests for vehicles through email, making delivery fast and convenient.
A specific challenge to the installation was King Airports multi-tier rate table. Automation of all data gathering at the site, including reservations, coupons, validations, preferred customer discounts and other entries, has boosted revenue control and decreased the time it takes to process customers. No manual entry is required and employee error is completely minimized. The sites operation board also eliminates mistakes that compromise customer service by tracking each vehicle and its keys from the moment they enter the valet system.
Sivar says Automated Valet produces a great product and the results are immediate.
I would recommend Automated Valet to other valet operators because of their superior customer service and friendly staff. We are impressed with turn around time once we place a call for tech support.
