From the valet staging point the Bluetooth® RoadRunner scanner allows the user to enter any or all of this info instantly to the AVPM™ system.
o Ticket number, by scanning the barcoded ticket
o Vehicle make, model, year by scanning the barcoded VIN number
o Vehicle color, by scanning barcoded color sheet
o “Who received/ served the vehicle?” The scanner is assigned to the user before he starts using it
o ”Who is parking/retrieving the car?”, by scanning the barcoded employee ID
o Damage control
o Check out date
o VIP recognition
When the guest is ready to leave a simple scan with the SAME scanner will send the information to the key room attendant and request the vehicle.
Expensive tools such as handheld PC’s & PDA’s are not meant for valet operations. The Baracoda™ RoadRunner scanner with Bluetooth® technology is ready to be utilized. It is more affordable and reliable.
There is NO manual information entry, no click and nothing to hold if you use the wrist band!
