Automated Valet technology comes with self-healing feature

Plantation, Fla. January 2009 Automated Valets award-winning valet management system, AVPM, rarely suffers from glitches or malfunctions, but when it does, it has built-in technology that finds and corrects any problem before it affects the operation - no matter where this location may be.
The Watchdog feature works around the clock searching for anomalies in the system, including problems related to the database, system connectivity, data storage, hardware, software and more.
The Watchdog feature is not only a tool for monitoring problems, but it also has self-healing and reporting procedures. If it detects an error within the system it works to repair the problem automatically. Watchdog reports anomalies/problems to Automated Valet through email so the company can follow up with clients almost instantly, if necessary.
For example, if the monitoring agent encounters a database issue due to storage error or power failure, it will automatically run proper healing procedures. Or, if it detects a hardware malfunction such as disconnected gate controller, it will alert Automated Valet to the problem. Watchdog also checks available resources such as hard disk size or overloading CPU load, and it will prompt Automated Valet to take any precautionary action.
The Watchdog runs continuously, as does AVPM, so repairs are made and reported almost instantaneously and users do not experience disturbances to the operation of their valet systems. Watchdog is embedded in the AVPM technology and cannot be dismantled or uninstalled inadvertently. It is 100 percent reliable, and highly customizable to conform to complexity of any operation. Regardless of where the operation is located in the world, Watchdog gives Automated Valet the information and the capability to correct system issues and can even repair a printer by remote access. Other valet systems require onsite repairs and valet operations to wait months for maintenance losing revenue the entire time.

Automated Valet promises superior customer service with its products. Its support technology has been functioning without interruption for more than a year.
"We are more than 20 years ahead of the competition", says Automated Valet CEO Ken Gulec. "This kind of monitoring and self-healing technology is not used anywhere else in the valet parking industry."
