Ballast Nedam Park & Connect Expands Amphia Hospital’s Parking Capacity in Breda

Ballast Nedam Park & Connect starts the construction of a parking deck at the Amphia Hospital in Breda this summer. The parking deck expands the current P4 car park and creates additional parking capacity for employees.

The submitted plans were assessed by Amphia Ziekenhuis Breda in two phases (selection and tendering phase) in terms of design, price, risk management, planning and phasing. Based on the tendered price and quality, the contract for the realisation was awarded to Ballast Nedam Park & Connect.

Reduced parking pressure

With the centralization within the Amphia Ziekenhuis, all care departments are located at the Molengracht location. Therefore extra parking capacity is urgently needed. The parking deck will be completed by Ballast Nedam Park & Connect in June 2022 to prevent parking pressure from the employees.

Over ten years experience

Ballast Nedam Park & Connect has been constructing demountable, reusable garages for over a decade. For example, the parking garage at the Reinier de Graaf Hospital in Gouda is currently located at Dierenpark Amersfoort and the former parking garage at the railway station in Zaandam is now located at the railway station in Almelo. The garages match the context of their surroundings. For example, they can be given an attractive appearance or a parking garage in the woods can be camouflaged with tree trunks.

Ballast Nedam Park & Connect is strongly committed to demountable and circular construction. Agreements are currently being made on the construction of second-hand car parks, whereby reuse reduces the demand for non-renewable raw materials.
