Boomerang Systems Announces New Patents

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. - Boomerang Systems, Inc. (OTCQB: BMER), a leading designer and manufacturer of automated robotic parking and self storage systems, announces that it has been granted two United States patents: one covers Boomerang's fully automated storage system employing hoist and caddy transport technology; the other allowed patent covers the novel design of the scissor lift used in Boomerang's RoboticValet™ automated parking garage system.

Does anyone else think this is laughable that they are talking about a patent using rack and rail technology when they discount it in the paragraphs? What kind of a company presumably spends $150,000 on engineering, developing, controlling, and patenting a scissors lift when so many already exist in the world and their installations would only use 1 every 100-200 jobs (which could be 30 years with this company). They still try to make people believe that they are the only company that provides an AGV parking product. Their competition Park Plus also has an AGV parking product that in my opinion is much better in almost all aspects. It is interesting that they do not state that the person who invented their current AGV product and was their COO works for Park Plus because he believes in Park Plus’s AGV program more than Boomerangs. They also don’t discuss that their AGV program is up in the air… I guess they are trying to raise more money from additional investors.

Boomerang is vastly superior to Park Plus. As far as AGVs are concerned the Boomerang system is far more user and operator friendly than Park Plus. If I opeerated a garage I wouldn't even contemplate Park Plus. I will admit, though, that any AGV system is far better than mechanical parking options.
