BOSS SOFTWARE Goes Live: University of Puget Sound

BOSS SOFTWARE has announced the implementation of software with their newest client, the University of Puget Sound. The University of Puget Sound, located in Tacoma, WA, will be using BOSSCARS to provide a unified Parking Management solution.

'I chose BOSSCARS because my department needed a solution to better manage our parking program. We had several challenges and I was tasked with tightening up the program. The Banner relationship was also very important.

When Boss visited campus to demonstrate their product, it really seemed to fit our needs. The overall look and feel of Boss Cars seemed to be very intuitive,' Todd Badham, Director of Security Services said.

Tasha Helton, Project Manager for BOSSCARS Implementation, said, 'Because of the handheld ticket unit, security services is able to accurately connect to the registration/ ticketing database, making the process for an officer writing tickets immediate and consistent. Also, BOSSCARS has made the security office become a more cashless/paperless environment which speaks well for our campus sustainability program.'

The University will be utilizing BOSSCARS for permit and citation management, in conjunction with the Handheld Ticket Writing Module for a fully automated ticketing process.
