He was member of the BPA Executive Council from 1991 to 1996 and has been a major contributor to the successful development of the BPA's Parkex exhibition and conference event. Kelvin is also a member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport.

Commenting on his new role, Kelvin said, "I'm really looking forward to taking up this new challenge and to representing parking at this exciting time in its development. Most of us travel every day, even if only locally and more and more of our quality of life depends on safe, efficient and sustainable parking facilities which are needed to support a strong and prosperous economy. The BPA continues to take the lead in developing and encouraging this."

At the same time the BPA is promoting its present General Manager, Jane Hack to Director with responsibilities for the Financial, Administration, Members Services and General Business affairs of the organisation.

Jane who has managed the Associations 'Parkex' exhibition for some years says she is "delighted to take up this new role in an expanding and developing body and looks forward to helping to further advance the standing of the BPA in the future."

Chief Executive, Keith Banbury comments, "I am delighted with these changes in structure which reflect the emerging role of the Association. It is important that we are at the forefront of Industry developments and these appointments will help us maintain the momentum we have created over the past couple of years."
