British Motorists Confused By Restrictions.
More than a third of motorists have argued with a parking attendant after receiving a ticket, according to research by Britain's Royal Auto Club.
And the figure could increase if a new Traffic Management Bill giving parking attendants increased powers becomes law, RAC says. "Parking attendants already have the unhappy status of being despised by motorists," said RAC's Eddie Ryan. The research showed more than a third of motorists are confused by the many parking restrictions. Ryan added: "Clearly, the restrictions on where you can and cannot park leave motorists confused."
