All terminals on LAN in the tennis town of Båstad

Fast and stable communication via LAN

- Båstad, Sweden

Cale has recently installed a number of MP 104 terminals in the tourist resort of Båstad in the south of Sweden. Båstad has the largest outdoor tennis facility in Scandinavia and is home to the large annual tennis tournament, the Swedish Open, during Tennis Week.

The terminals are only used during the summer season, and are really put to the test during Tennis Week when the place is crowded with players, the public and other tourists.

Båstad is currently the only Swedish municipality where all payment terminals for parking are installed on a LAN connection via the city network.

The terminals have proved themselves to be fast and stable.
If you are interested in the possibility of using LAN for your terminals, please contact Cale Sales for more information.

About CaleCale

Cale Group incorporates over 55 years of experience in the design and development of secure and innovative pay terminals for uses in unattended environments. The development has been enormous, starting with a basic parking meter, via the first pay-and-display terminal to the advanced, web-based pay terminals of today. Nowadays, the terminals are doing so much more than selling parking tickets. They can also handle issuing of entrance tickets for national parks and museums, green-fee charges at the golf course, fees for fi shing cards, bus and train tickets, charging of electrical vehicles, and much more.

Furthermore, Cale has developed a user-friendly back office application for monitoring, programming and controlling of Cale terminals. Cale constantly implements new solutions to simplify the daily administration for their operators and improve user-friendliness for customers.

Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, the Cale Group is internationally active with subsidiaries in Norway, the UK, Germany, Canada, France, and the United States, and a network of local partners in over 30 countries world-wide.
