Cale Access delivers 300 bus fare ticket terminals

Cale Access, already well established as supplier of parking terminals in Stockholm, was one of the companies invited to submit a tender. In January, Cale Access was chosen as the supplier. The contract consists of 300 ticket terminals to be delivered and installed by April 1st, after which time it will no longer be possible to purchase tickets using cash. The terminals will be installed at selected bus stops and underground stations.

At the same time, around one hundred existing parking terminals belonging to the traffic aministration authority, Stockholms Stads Trafikkontor, will be upgraded to enable the purchasing of bus fare tickets in addition to parking tickets.

The new ticket terminals will be spread throughout the entire Stockholm region and they will be connected via the Cale WebOffice service for the collection of card transactions, gathering of statistics and processing of alarms, etc.
