One of the foremost benefits IPI members value is the conference educational programming. The IPI Program Committee plays a significant role in bringing to our audiences intriguing, up to date, useful information by hand-picking the most engaging, knowledgeable and inspirational speakers. The 2009 conference educational program is being developed now.
The International Parking Institute is currently accepting presentation proposals for the 2009 Annual Conference and Exposition. Experienced and articulate individuals willing to share their expertise and real world practices are invited to submit presentation proposals for the 2009 International Parking Conference and Exposition to be held in Denver, Colorado.
Presentations that illustrate case studies, illuminate important issues, bring how to knowledge, and increase the professional levels of those attending the conference are particularly valued.

The Proposal Evaluation Process
IPI's goal is to choose speakers who can effectively communicate their message to a variety of audiences. Proposals will be evaluated using the following criteria:1. Overall quality
2. Well-defined focus
3. Timeliness and relevance of topic to conference theme
4. Relevance to the profession clearly communicating how the conference
theme has been integrated into your presentation
5. Practical application of material
6. Presentation skill of the proposed speaker(s)
7. Applicability to a national audience
8. Quality of written proposal
Successful proposals offer programs that make professional development and educational contributions to IPI and its members. Programs must not sell or promote any specific product or service. Notification letters will be mailed six (6) weeks after the close of the submission process to the primary contact of each proposal.
