Chez Vision Marketing Limited, integrated marketing agency, has partnered with award winning transport operator Southern Railway to provide the unique car park floor advertising in over 88 railway car parks across the south of England.
Southern, who won the award for ‘Public Transport Operator of the Year’ at this year’s London Transport Awards has been heavily investing in car park expansion programmes over recent years. Major works have been carried out to install CCTV and lighting throughout the majority of Southern’s network, along with the extension of selected car parks with the installation of Southern’s new single deck car park system, complete with ramp traffic lights. This has transformed many locations into much safer environments with pleasant, clean surroundings, creating the perfect stage for developing the ingenious floor advertising campaigns.

Southern provides train services for commuters, airport users, business travellers and leisure travellers in south London, between central London and the South coast, through East and West Sussex, Surrey and parts of Kent and Hampshire. Now every day on average, 446,500 passenger journeys are made from 156 stations, 120 of which have Secure Station accreditation.
In 2009, Govia (Southern’s parent company) was awarded the South Central franchise to run from September 2009 until July 2015. During the new franchise, Southern has worked hard to make improvements to stations, trains and to the passengers’ overall travelling experience. Over the past few years, six superb brand new station buildings have been created at Mitcham Eastfields, Coulsdon Town (formerly Smitham), Uckfield, East Grinstead, Hassocks and Ashtead. Further major station improvement schemes are underway which will bring the overall investment in new stations and major improvement work to over £16.5million. To top it off, Southern has also increased car and cycle parking spaces significantly at stations to help passengers travel in a much more sustainable way.
