CEN Launches Awards Initiative for Enforcement Sector
Civil Enforcement News, the leading magazine in the enforcement sector unveiled plans to launch an awards initiative dedicated to profiling high standards in the industry.
The Civil Enforcement Awards will be officially launched in the Autumn, when the categories, judges and venue for the inaugural event in 2008 will be announced.
Looking forward to the launch is Simon OBrien, CEN editor. He commented: Civil Enforcement News has really rocketed since its launch in 2006, and on the back of this the time is right to expand our activities by creating an awards opportunity for the industry.
The civil enforcement sector works tirelessly to improve public life, but the drive to improve standards and the benefits that the industry brings remain quite firmly in the background. We thought that it was about time that exemplary operators received some recognition for their work.
A five-year headline sponsorship deal for the awards has already been secured from the UKs largest independent revenue recovery and enforcement services company, Philips. Managing director, Nick Bradley, said:
We are pleased to support the CEN Civil Enforcement Awards by becoming its headline sponsor. We feel that our focus on professionalism and industry excellence matches the values of the awards, and therefore this is the right type of initiative for us to support. I am confident that the Civil Enforcement Awards will be a great success, and look forward to a long and close involvement.
