Central Parking Corporation Announces Preliminary Third Quarter Results

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 21, 2003--Central Parking Corporation (NYSE: CPC) today announced that the Company expects to report a net loss for the third quarter ended June 30, 2003 due primarily to severance and property-related losses.
logo.jpgMonroe J. Carell, Jr., who resumed the position of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer ten weeks ago, indicated that excluding these charges, the Company was profitable for the quarter. Final results for the third quarter and nine months will be released as scheduled in early August.
