City of Glendale Selects Equipment from Digital Payment Technologies for Municipal Parking Spaces
The City of Glendale has plans to deploy 80 LUKE pay stations over the next two years.
Digital Payment Technologies (DPT), a leading supplier of electronic parking meters and internet based management solutions for the global parking industry, is pleased to announce its recent order from the City of Glendale to supply LUKE parking pay stations for the citys on-street and off-street parking operations. The initial order is for 37 LUKE pay stations configured with coin acceptors, credit card readers, and online services, with a plan to install up to 80 machines.
Glendale is very pleased to have selected Digital Payment Technologies and the LUKE pay station for our parking requirements, commented Jano Baghdanian, Traffic & Transportation Administrator for the City of Glendale. Key factors in our decision included the payment options, ease of use, and the ability to network all pay stations.
DPT has always had a strong and growing client base in California with several leading parking operators, universities, and cities, commented Chris Chettle, Vice President of Marketing at DPT. We are excited to add the City of Glendale to our client base and look forward to expanding our relationship in the future.
Installation of the new meters is now complete with the first meters going live the first week of December. Future technology capabilities being explored by the city include enforcement handheld integration.
