City of Houston Chooses T2 Flex Parking Management System

The ability to manage all areas of parking with one system is key benefit Houston cites for choosing T2 Flex.
T2 Systems announces that the city of Houston, TX, has selected T2 Flex as its new parking management system. With a population of about 2.2 million Houston is the 4th largest city in the country and was looking for a solution that would not only make parking management easier for the city, but enable it to provide additional customer service options to its parkers.

According to Liliana Rambo, CAPP, Director of the Parking Management Division for the city, there were several reasons why T2 Flex was chosen, one of which is that the city will be able to manage all aspects of its operation with just one system.

The idea of having one system that processes everything related to our parking operation is a key benefit, Rambo said. Not only will we use T2 Flex to manage our enforcement activities and our permits, were also looking forward to providing new online services to our parkers.

T2 Flex is the industrys only parking system that manages permits, citations, access and revenue-controlled facilities, asset management and event parking. This gives users the convenience of one system - or database - which contains all relevant information, making reporting more efficient. And because its a web-based solution, parking managers can access all information about their parking operation from any computer with Internet access.

The value that a single system brings to our city is immeasurable, says Rambo. As the needs of our growing city and its parkers continue to change, the integrated solution provided by T2 Flex will be able to manage them. This means less downtime and improved efficiency for our organization.

Were very excited to be awarded the opportunity to work with the city of Houston, said T2 President and CEO Mike Simmons. Every city has unique parking needs and challenges and we look forward to partnering with the team from Houston and developing a long-standing relationship that will meet their specific business objectives now and in the future.

In addition to the features and benefits provided by T2 Flex, Rambo cites other reasons for choosing T2 Systems as its solutions provider, including the companys high-quality customer service reputation and its ongoing training opportunities.
