Civil Enforcement Awards Judging Panel Announced

All awards need judges and the CE awards will be judged by leading lights from industry, local government and Parliament.
Their deliberations and decisions will help set the standard for future awards, so the pressure could not be greater.

Here we introduce you to some of the distinguished judges:

Lord Lucas (Chair of Judges) - Elected hereditary peer
Lord Lucas has taken an active role in promoting Civil Enforcement in the House. He has previous involvement in the creation of the London Motorists Action Group, and was responsible for introducing the Bailiffs (Licensing) Bill 2006 to the House of Lords.

Kelvin Reynolds (Deputy Chair of Judges) - Director of Technical Services, BPA
Kelvin has been involved with the BPA for around 15 years, three of these as Director of Technical Services. He is responsible for the development and delivery of Technical Services to Association members, promoting industry best practice and Government liaison.

Paul Assarsson - CEO, Euro Parking Collection plc.
EPC are a major European debt collector for enabling councils, civic authorities, parking providers and police authorities to enforce payments of traffic penalties fines issued to a foreign registered vehicle (FRV).

Ashley Bijster - UK Sales Director, Imperial Business Systems
Imperial Business Systems are an enforcement IT provider. Ashley is a highly focused Sales Director with 11 years managerial experience in the local government sector, 7 of these within enforcement. Ashley joined Imperial Business Systems in December 2006 and heads up all commercial operations for Langdale, Compex & Imperial.

Peter Hermitage - Chair of BPA UK Skills Board
Peter is a key education and training expert, as well as serving as Deputy Pro-Chancellor of Canterbury Christ Church University. In May 1999 he retired from the post of Director of National Police Training (NPT), having served in the police service for over 30 years.
