Colonial Parking Announces New Chief Financial Officer
Colonial Parking, the area's largest parking operator, today announced the appointment of David C. Souders to the position of Vice President Finance and Control and Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.
"Dave is a versatile, experienced finance executive with strong roots in the greater Washington DC area. His expertise with varied business environments will provide a solid foundation for our future growth," said Andrew C. Blair, President and Chief Executive Officer. "We are very pleased to have him on board."
Most recently employed by Gate Gourmet, Inc., a northern Virginia-based $500M company, Mr. Souders' career includes over 17 years of experience with private and publicly-held companies focusing on strategic planning, business process design, , budgeting, forecasting and benchmarking, taxation, and treasury functions. Prior to his tenure at Gate Gourmet, he served as the CFO of BOWA Builders, Inc. for nearly five years.
As a key contributor to Colonial's Executive Team, Mr. Souders will be responsible for all financial aspects of Colonial Parking, including accounting oversight, financial reporting and analysis, and budgeting. He will be the point of contact for all outside accounting and advisory firms, and will report directly to Mr. Blair.

Mr. Souders holds a B.S. in Accounting from Virginia Tech and a Masters of Business Administration from Hood College, and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Maryland. He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants.
