Compex Almost Doubles in Size As Vinci Park IT Join the Company

Compex Development & Marketing Ltd, the leading supplier of parking enforcement software and wholly owned subsidiary of VINCI Park, announced today all VINCI Park IT staff are now transferred to Compex Development & Marketing Ltd.
compex.jpgOn the 1st September 2004 all VINCI Park IT staff transferred to COMPEX to form the largest dedicated Parking software and services company in the industry. This is the start of a process that is aimed specifically at improving product, support and service delivery to both the VINCI Park UK group and its customers.

Jeremy Graham-Clare – Sales Manager - Compex Development & Marketing Ltd, said “The transfer of VINCI IT to Compex was an obvious choice for the group. Compex have maintained their independence for provision of software and services, and the new skill sets will complement the existing business areas. This is great news for our customers as they now have a significantly expanded support department.
vincipark.gifWith 25 full time dedicated support staff – the largest in the industry by far – Compex can now not only advise as to software issues but networking and hardware too. The support teams have over 130 years worth of parking IT systems knowledge spread over two sites in Northampton and central London.

The combination of increased support staff and the new integrated product suite , Compex are in a position now of supporting up to double the current amount of customers with the same high level of service.”

Maintaining good customer relationship has been one of Compex’s main focuses in the past, which is why they have one of the largest customer bases in the UK. Graham-Clare goes on to say, “having an account manager and sales executive structure within the sales department, which is unique within the parking software industry, enables closer relationships with our customers. We plan to build on this success by doubling the size of the team to enable increased contact and dialogue with both existing and new customers.”

“Compex anticipates a large growth in the numbers of customers as they launch their new product and service suite at Parkex. Having the foundations is critical to maintaining the high level of service we currently provide.”

Management of teams implementing these new and upgraded systems falls to Jackie Dignam, Compex Office Manager, she says “We have increased the core team by 66% and that now continues to ensure new implementations and major changes to contracts and infrastructure are professionally managed from inception through to completion. These are exciting times ahead for Compex as we look to gain a much larger customer base.”
