Conclusions About The World Parking Symposium IV
The World Parking Symposium IV that was held in Toronto, Ontario Canada from May 16th to May 19th, 2004, was a total success. Over a 100 people representing 10 countries were in attendance to share their ideas and solutions with each other.
The Agenda, entitled, “Parking in a Global Community” addressed the issues of mobility, traffic congestion and environmental quality within the constraints imposed by the economy and the need for livable urban communities. The use of automobiles, use of land, transportation alternatives, infrastructure and regulations were all key elements discussed.
