Contract Award At A 'Novel' Development

The car park will serve the new Dickens World themed leisure complex in Chatham, Kent. Work starts on site in September with completion scheduled for February next year and the completed 11 split level multi storey car park will provide 474 spaces for public use.

Dickens World is being built on derelict dockland at Chatham and will be based on the life and work of Charles Dickens who lived there as a boy and from where many of his storylines originated. The indoor theme park will reproduce Victorian London with cobbled streets, workhouses, slums, markets and shops. As well as the theme park the project will also include a multiplex cinema with bars and restaurants.
