Covelli Centre improves online ticket sales

Covelli Centre and Ticketmaster.com will offer the option to purchase parking passes in advance online along with Interactive Seating Maps for select shows.

The Covelli Centre and Ticketmaster.com are offering a unique and efficient opportunity for concert fans to purchase tickets with the launch of its latest improvement to fan- friendly initiatives: online Premium Parking Passes and an Interactive Seating Maps. “We believe in giving fans the best-possible experience; from the time they purchase a ticket to the moment an artist steps on stage, we want to help shape their memories,” Eric Ryan, Executive Director explains. “The interactive seating map allows us to achieve that because the fan is able to see exactly where they will be sitting for the show. For example, patrons can see the great seats that are still available for shows like Bob Dylan and Rob Zombie/Marilyn Manson, by simply logging onto www.ticketmaster.com. We are also taking convenience a step further by adding the option to purchase Premium Parking Passes online in advance of the show,” he finishes. Currently, both the Interactive Seating Map and Premium Parking Passes are available online for Bob Dylan’s August 28th show and will be available for Rob Zombie/Marilyn Manson next week. Eventually, Covelli Centre will have Premium Parking Passes available for online purchases for all shows.

About the Interactive Seating Map:
The interactive seating map redefines “best available” by letting fans navigate and choose from all available seats and configurations. Traditionally, “best available” searches relied on computers to perform the search; now, the upgraded map enables everyone from an individual searching for a seat to a group of friends looking for tickets in-front-of, behind, or across the aisle from the stage—the ability to choose how and where they sit. You can also tag yourself using the social media platform, Facebook and see where your friends are sitting as well.

How It Works:

Searches start with a view of the venue’s entire seat map and by scrolling over rows and sections quick seat summaries and availability are displayed; fans then highlight and select the seat(s) of their choice to purchase. Additionally, with features like zoom in and zoom out or by clicking on search filters including price range, quantity, special promotions and discounts offered by some events, fans can pinpoint the best up-to-the-minute tickets.

About the Online Premium Parking Passes:

Online Premium Parking Passes takes the guess-work out of your concert-going experience and allows you to purchase a pass when you purchase your concert tickets. The pass will ensure your on-site parking at the many sold-out shows held at the Covelli Centre.Covelli Centre

How It Works:

Patrons can log onto the Covelli Centre’s website and follow the Ticketmaster link to their desired event. The Premium Parking Pass purchasing option will appear at the bottom of the main purchase page on the event and will range from $10-$20 in cost. The passes can be purchased at the Time Warner Cable Box office inside the Covelli Centre or online only; Ticketmaster outlets will not have parking pass capabilities. Once your pass has been purchased, you can print it at home or at the box office (depending on point of purchase) and bring it to the show with you to be scanned by parking attendants who will direct you to the spot that has been allocated just for you!
