Deister takes over Syntron

Deister has taken over the company Syntron, a specialist in IT-based security systems. With this acquisition, deister expands its comprehensive RFID portfolio with highly integrated software solutions as well as RFAPP technology and a range of specialized solutions for hospitals, nursing homes, retail and administration. Syntron had filed for bankruptcy on 10 April 2012. The acquisition was finalized on 4 July 2012. Syntron solutions are now delivered by deister.

"With the acquisition of the brand and stock we want to ensure the continuation of advanced security techniques," says Anatoli Stobbe, CEO and owner of deister electronic. He wants to continue important sections of Syntron like the products based on RFAPP technology. "Furthermore, we are pleased that we are able to take over some key employees of Syntron”. The managing director of Syntron, Mr. Schwirzheim will still be there to consult the transition to deister. “The powerful partners of Syntron can be ensured to receive the excellent advice and support they are used to, also in the future", said Mark Abrams, CFO of deister.
