Digital Payment Technologies Corp. Announces Appointment of Chief Technology Officer

Vancouver, BC Digital Payment Technologies Corp., a leading supplier of revenue management solutions for the global parking industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher MacPhail to the post of Chief Technology Officer.
C-MacPhail-1.jpgChris has more than 25 years’ experience working with hardware and software in various high-technology companies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computing science from Simon Fraser University and an honors diploma in control electronics (EE) from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.


Most recently, Chris was co-founder and president of Brixan Technologies, a wireless software applications development company specializing in real-time fleet tracking and management systems. From 2001 to 2002, he was president of Simba Technologies, a database middleware product company specializing in OLAP and OBDC technologies; from 1997 to 2001, he was co-founder and president of software services company Orbital Technologies, whose clients include many large ISVs such as Microsoft and Adobe Systems. Prior to 1997, Chris’s experience included working at Paradigm Development, also a software services company, where he held the positions of development manager and, eventually, partner.
