DPE powers to increase across the country?

As a direct result of authorities approaching the DfT about the possibility of extending the scope of DPE contraventions, a list of proposals have been drawn up which outline a number of changes that could be made to the current parking regulations that local authorities have been able to take over from the police.

Comments on these proposals should be with the DfT by 28 February, when they will be taken further.
