DSS-MP has installed a new Designa system

DSS-MP Magyarország Kft has finished the installation and test period of a new Designa PM Abacus car park management and access control system for the multi-story car park at one of the major shopping centers in Budapest, Hungary.
The multi-story car park is having 250 parking spaces with only 1 entry and 2 exit terminals causing constant traffic flow problems.
The new Designa car park management and access control system will allow high speed traffic flow utilising an integrated Licence Plate Recognition system.
With the use of the new Designa PM Abacus system with its integrated Licence Plate Recognition system the traffic flow speed increased by 30% on the entry and exit points.

About DSS-MP Magyarország Kft

DSS.jpg
DSS-MP Magyarország Kft designs, manufactures, and supplies automated parking systems based on Schneider Electrics electrical and automation parts.
In 2009 our company has received nor-refundable grants from the New Hungary Development Plans Economic Development Operational Program (GOP) for Development and implementation of an environment friendly Automated Car Park in Hungary and abroad.
TECHNOLOGY
The automated systems architecture is based on intelligent subsystems, each having its own PLC and functions. Should a part fail, the unaffected components operate independently to assume control and operation of the system without any data loss, giving a high level of redundancy. Commands and communication are uninterrupted.
The speed of operation depends on the weight of the vehicle, which is measured during the entry process. Faster transportation can be achieved using this method than with constant-speed systems.
In addition, all automation and electrical components are sourced from Schneider Electric thereby avoiding compatibility problems.
No hydraulic or pneumatic parts are used.
