EasyPark Group Celebrates Huge Coverage Milestone

Europe’s leading smart parking service provider today announced that it has reached a significant new milestone, with the popular EasyPark app now available in more than 1200 cities across Europe and Australia. EasyPark Group CEO, Johan Birgersson, says the company’s rapid trajectory shows no signs of slowing down.

Since last year we have seen an increase in mobile parking transactions by more than 30 percent, and the demand for digital parking services is increasing all the time. It’s clear that people want the same level of convenience for parking they already have for other services and they don’t want the hassle of downloading a new app every time they park in a different city,” he says.

EasyPark has built a name for itself as a leader of innovation, not only delivering unrivalled service for drivers, but also for businesses, cities and parking operators. As the company’s reputation grows, it seems more and more partners are turning to EasyPark, approximately two new every work day, for help digitalizing their parking ecosystems.

Last year the company also added two new services to its already extensive offering: Find & Park which guides users to available parking both on and off-street, and the Parking Dashboard which allows cities to analyse and interpret parking data from various sources in one simple interface.

We are in a really strong period of growth right now and we’re proud to be playing our part in transforming the industry for the better. For us it’s not only about making urban life easier for drivers, we’re always striving to generate the best outcomes possible for businesses, cities and parking operators by taking a more wholistic approach that addresses the needs of each group,” said Birgersson.

The expansion in coverage for EasyPark represents improved convenience for drivers and businesses as they have more options than ever before when parking at home or abroad. This is a significant benefit for parking operators too, as they gain access to an even larger pool of EasyPark customers internationally.

EasyPark Group recently expanded into three new countries, including Serbia, Belgium and Switzerland, which brings the total number of markets in the network to 15.
