Easytrip service resumes at the ’all new’ Setanta Car Park

Easytrip, Ireland's only provider of electronic tolling and parking payment services, has today announced that from Friday, July 13th, 2012, its parking service will resume at Setanta Car Park in Dublin 2. Customers can use their Easytrip tags to pay for parking now that the facility's extensive upgrade is complete.

The re-launch of Setanta has seen a complete transformation of the 35 year-old parking facility into the flagship car park in Ireland for owners, Q-Park. This year Q-Park celebrates its 10th anniversary of operations in Ireland and the occasion will be marked by the re-launch of Setanta Car Park.  The car park has been substantially refurbished over the last few months and has been given a state of the art makeover, giving customers a unique parking experience.  As well as the latest technologies, Setanta now provides a suite of on-site services, available free-of-charge to all customers.  Services include, AEDs (defibrillators), umbrellas, children’s buggies and car battery starter packs, plus the car park is available to customers 24/7.

Commenting on the re-launch and Easytrip’s part in the newly refurbished car park, Ray Peers, Managing Director of Q-Park states, ”We are so proud of the new Setanta Place car park.  We believe that we have delivered a state-of-the-art facility unlike any other in Dublin City and indeed, this is what customers have now come to demand and expect from Q-Park. So too, with the Easytrip service, we are keeping customers at the cutting edge of technological developments and we are delighted to continue our long established association with Easytrip’s electronic parking service as part of this major re-launch.”

Whether for business or private use, Setanta provides secure parking with 225 spaces, more evidence that Easytrip is fast becoming the payment method of choice at key car park locations around Ireland.

Dermot MacEvilly, CEO of Easytrip, explains the company’s history with Setanta, “It’s great news for our customers that they can now avail of Q-Park’s flagship car park at Setanta. We congratulate Q-Park on their 10-year anniversary in Ireland and we are proud to be associated with this, the very first car park to adopt the Easytrip service in Ireland.  We celebrate the fact that our customers can once more use their tag in such a high profile and modern car park in Dublin city centre.  We hope that with such an advancement it will help to attract even more new business to our unique service offering of tolling and parking from a single tag,”

Easytrip customers who have activated the parking service can now go back to Setanta and use their tag to pay for parking from July 13th and no longer need to take a ticket when entering any of Easytrip’s listed car parks.  Those who have opted for tolling only, can simply switch on parking by logging into their account.
