EFAFLEX: NCP Case Study

- United Kingdom
EFAFLEX high-speed shutters at one of the locations of the UK chain

A UK chain that operates over 150,000 car parking spaces, in more than 500 towns, wanted to ramp up security across their city center-based facilities as part of a plan to double the size of the overall company.

The company manages a number of strategically positioned city center-based car park facilities, many of which hailed from the 1970s. They lacked appeal and were deemed un-user-friendly. The owners wanted to increase the number of car parking bays, safeguard the users from anti-social behavior, and make them more appealing to increase revenue generated from the hourly tariff.

EFAFLEX high-speed ‘shutters’ were commissioned for a number of their city center locations and installed at the entrance and exit points. Combined with CCTV, and door entry systems, these improvements increase user confidence and enable the facilities to be operational 24 hours a day.
