Enstos EV charging point awarded with important design prize great success at the red dot award: product design 2011

Ensto convinced the international expert jury of the red dot award: product design 2012. After an evaluation process lasting several days, it received one of the coveted awards, assigned by a 30-member expert jury. Enstos charging point EVP inspired the experts with its high design quality and fine design language.
The award-winning Ensto EVP charging point is a solution for charging your electric vehicle at home, at workplace and in parking garages. As stylish and durable design furniture with high quality materials it can be fitted into parking areas where classy design meets harsh environment. The wall-mounted EVP charging point is especially suitable for locations which require multiple charging points. With installation accessories EVP is also suitable for ceiling and ground installation. The EVP charging point has a strong metal construction with cast aluminium body. An individual three-color LED indicator for each socket outlet shows the charging status.

Ensto considers design as integral part of product development

Ensto gives design a lot of attention in the R&D process. The company wants to make sure that the appearance of its products encourages the implementation of electric vehicles and their charging infrastructure. Tough competition, excellent outcome

EV charger ENSTO.jpgEnsto won the Product design prize in the Household category. Prize was won in very good company: creative heads and manufacturers from all over the world had submitted 4,515 designs altogether to the renowned product competition.

Professor Dr. Peter Zec, initiator and CEO of the red dot design award, pointed to the high quality level of the competition: The most distinguished products of the respective branch of industry faced up not only to the tough competition this year again, but also to the critical eye of the jury. The experts thoroughly examined, tested and evaluated each entry. The laureates demonstrated an extraordinary design quality and showed that design is an integral part of innovative product solutions. At this high level, the winners are able to increase their potential for success on the market considerably by purposefully using our design prize.

Ensto considers the award to be a great recognition of their hard work in the design and innovation process of their products. It demonstrates that the dedication to creating good design has been the right choice and that they have succeeded in doing it. It also serves as a testimony to Enstos core values of quality, innovation and sustainability.

The red dot design award
