Envision Solar Launches Solar Grove and CleanCharge Initiative for Quick Service Restaurants

Envision Solar International, Inc., ( www.envisionsolar.com) (OTCBB:EVSI), a leading solar planner, architect and inventor designing and deploying clean energy systems globally, announces the launch of its Quick Service Restaurant (QSRs) initiative featuring Solar Groves solar parking arrays and CleanCharge solar charging stations for parking lots. CleanCharge is the first initiative to bring shade, clean solar energy and electric vehicle charging stations to QSR parking lots.
The Envision Solar CleanCharge vehicle charging system provides restaurants with a Solar Grove, an array of Solar Trees equipped with an electric vehicle and hybrid electric vehicle charging station.

The Solar Trees provide shade for diners vehicles, while simultaneously allowing the restaurant to offset some of its energy usage through the grid-connected solar system. The CleanCharge solar-to-electric vehicle charging station also allows customers to recharge plug-in electric and hybrid vehicles while they dine.

Envision Solar has established partnerships with a number of financing companies to provide power purchase agreements for QSRs, which allows them to implement Solar Groves and CleanCharge stations with no initial financial cost. The restaurants can then purchase electricity provided at a known rate schedule for as much as 20 years in some cases.

With the launch of CleanCharge, it is now easy for restaurant owners to transform a parking lot into a clean electrical generator while keeping vehicles cool and shaded, said Bob Noble, CEO of Envision Solar. Our company has a long history of innovation and a reputation for working with customers to deliver superior renewable energy systems that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. We hope our QSR initiative will inspire restaurant owners to take advantage of this unique opportunity to help the environment, provide a useful service to customers, demonstrate their commitment to sustainability, and continue the effort to integrate renewable energy resources into everyday living.

Envision Solar has developed alliances with partners who provide key products and services to assure best-in-class Solar Groves at each restaurant location. Photovoltaic manufacturer Astronergy, a division of Chint Group, Noveda Technologies and ChargePoint Networked Charging Station manufacturer Coulomb Technologies have joined Envision as primary alliance partners in its QSR initiative.
