Global Intertraffic

amsterdam_rai.gifBy organising an Intertraffic exhibition in North America, the Amsterdam RAI adds an important new location to its portfolio. In addition to the ‘mother exhibition' in Amsterdam, this leading trade fair in the field of design, management and maintenance of traffic and transport infrastructure also has editions in Mexico, Turkey and Thailand.

The two century-old organisations have come together to fill an unmet need in the US marketplace, bringing together into one event all aspects of intelligent transportation systems, parking, traffic safety, control, management and much more besides.

Partnership

“We are extremely pleased to expand the Intertraffic concept to North America - the world’s largest market for transportation and traffic management technologies and products,” says Amsterdam RAI CEO Hans Bakker. “We are excited to work with the American Road and Transportation Builders Association, which is recognised around the world as the voice of the US transportation construction industry.”

ARTBA director T. Peter Ruane states: “The alliance between ARTBA and Amsterdam RAI is another example of our commitment to improving the safety and mobility of the US transportation system. We are very pleased to offer this event to assist our transportation safety-related members expand their markets.

“Intertraffic North America will also help ARTBA bring the latest technologies and information to our members in the contracting, public official and other industry segments. This is a win-win event for the industry and our transportation system.”
