First Order For Secure Motorcycle Parking Units With Lockers
The first order has been placed with Motoloc for its state-of-the-art secure motorcycle parking units that incorporate equipment lockers.
Leicester City Council has ordered 14 of the manufacturer’s ‘flagship’ pedestal units with lockers for four different parking locations throughout the city.
The lockers, which are available for use day and night, are electronically locked – by remote control - for security purposes during the hours of darkness.
Motoloc pedestal motorcycle parking units are also about to be installed by Fylde, Dudley and Alnwick authorities bringing the number of installations of powered two wheeler secure parking spaces to 400 in the last 12 months.
These commercial orders have been won by Metric Parking who are Motoloc’s exclusive UK distributor. Locations for these commercial orders vary from Ashtead Common to York and Bolton to Westminster.
In addition, Southport-based Motoloc has delivered its first motorcycle parking unit to the United States – a domestic unit for a householder in Atlanta.
