Flying starts at Ulsan Airport
Tooz Information Technologies of Seoul, South Korea has been awarded the contract to supply a Zeag-Orion parking and revenue control system to the Airport of the Metropolitan City of Ulsan.
Product quality, reliability and adaptability to local requirements were among the reason for the owners to choose the Korean/Swiss proposal. The system to be installed in the coming weeks will comprise of some 15 Orion peripheral equipment. 4 pay on foot stations offer payment in coins, notes and cashless payment and provide the user with change in coins and notes. Regular business parkers will enjoy the comfort of using the personal credit card for ticket less, cashless parking at the entry and exit stations; contract parkers and staff will be provided with RFID tags for long range identification.
The parking facilities and all equipment will be managed and controlled by the Windows XP based ZMS Management System. Besides the vast functionality, the management program impresses with its ingenious man-machine communication and graphical user interface. Korean language combined with simple to understand icons require practically no training to operate the complex system without fail. The ZMS Management software can easily be enhanced with additional equipment and functions or the integration with CCTV, VMS and intercom and other complementary systems.
