Genoa: with PosteMobile one SMS is enough to pay for your parking

In Genoa it is now possible to pay for your parking spot with one single message sent with your mobile phone, and purchase and recharge when necessary. The exclusive service has been introduced for the first time in Italy by PosteMobile, thanks to the new technology applied to your Sim-card. The telephone operator of Gruppo Poste Italiano signed an agreement with Telepark, which has given the green light for this technology to be used in 35 Italian cities. Apart from pay for your parking spot through one simple SMS, it is also possible to buy or recharge your prepaid Parkcard of your mobile phone, linking your Sim Poste Mobile to your own bank account. The cost of buying a Parkcard will be debited from your account with the help of the payment system of BancoPosta, which is associated with the Sim PosteMobile. The costs of 12 cents for accessing the services of TelePark (through Sim PosteMobile) will be debited automatically from the credit on your phone. As confirmation of your purchase you receive an SMS and a mail at your account at www.poste.it.

When your purchase your Parkcard, a sticker will be sent to your home address that you stick on your vehicle, while you also receive a Pin identification number to active your Parkcard.
