Get My Parking’s award-winning interoperable smart parking platform now includes an updated Tariff tool, which lets administrators set and change tariff rules for their parking lots on the fly. This feature is a part of the Admin Module, which lets operators have full control over their parking operations from a centralized reporting dashboard.

Modifying tariffs to suit their changing business requirements or government rules allows operators to enable efficient and customizable pricing for their parking. The system will yield the maximum possible revenue for the operator and ensures that the parker gets a transparent breakdown of their charges in their final bill.

Car parks can configure customized tariffs instead of the regular rates for bulk user groups, like for parkers from corporate companies that choose to pay for a portion of their employees’ or visitors’ parking sessions. The Tariff module enables user role-based access. Admins with permission can configure tariffs of various kinds and for different time periods.

Admins can choose between Flat Tariffs and Incremental Tariffs in their car parks. To create a more complex tariff system, admins can choose to add grids, or specific periods in a week where additional tariff rules are configured. In case multiple tariff rules overlap with each other, the admin can decide which tariff rules are prioritized and implemented.

Admins can set the maximum charge for a week, day or a month to make sure that the system does not overcharge users. They can import existing tariffs from another parking lot, review them and choose to include them in their new tariff management system.
