For the first time in its 20-year history the EPA Congress is hitting the shores of the UK and will turn London into a veritable hot-bed of parking professional from across Europe, and indeed the world, for the first three days of October. This all means that as well as two solids days of almost 100 stands exhibiting the finest in cutting-edge parking products and services, there are three days of presentations, seminars and workshops where the biggest names in European parking will be sharing their thoughts on the past, present and future of the global parking market.
top_bpalogo.jpgCompanies from every colour of the parking spectrum will be on show, many using the bright lights of Parkex to launch new products and advertise their latest services. With thousands of professionals from the spheres of parking, retail, local government, transportation, construction and technology you should be asking yourself whether you can afford to miss out!

It is with great pride that the BPA, the largest member of the EPA, is able to bring speakers from London, Dublin, Paris, Barcelona as well as Hungary, Vancouver and many more countries where parking plays an incredible role in transportation policy.

On home ground the man who introduced Red Routes to London as well as masterminding much of the implementation of the Congestion Charging scheme, Derek Turner, will be addressing delegates as will Nick Lester of the Association of London Government and Kevin Austin of the Greater London Authority. And the Congress is proud to present one of the UK’s well-known entrepreneurs, Stelios Haji-Ioannou who will be speaking about his latest venture: easyCar.

This year’s Congress will offer an opportunity to ‘pick and mix’ from a vast array of seminar and workshop sessions covering topics from mobile phone payment scheme to the latest in handheld enforcement units. The full topics list will be published as soon as everything is in place – but in the meantime get your pens and pencils ready for what is sure to be an enlightening industry experience.

And how could forget to mention the prestigious President’s Dinner – the perfect opportunity to meet and greet your professional counterparts from both the private and public sectors in the stylish surrounds of the Mayfair Hilton Hotel, Park Lane. Tickets to this culinary delight, with after dinner entertainment and yes, the return of the Parkex Disco, are just L65 a head and are going fast!
