GetThere, the world’s leading travel and collaboration management solution, announces an expansion of GetThere Ground to include parking services through Park ‘N Fly, a leading provider of off-airport parking services in the U.S.
By integrating the Park ’N Fly Network into GetThere’s booking process, corporate travelers now have the opportunity to save up to 50 percent versus standard U.S. airport parking rates. In addition, travelers will receive the added benefit of guaranteed, pre-paid parking at a safe and convenient location.
“Our goal with GetThere Ground from the beginning has been to provide our customers the ability to book the ground transportation that best fits their needs in a simple, seamless manner,” said Paul Wiley, chief product and strategy officer for GetThere. “Including parking services increases the options available to travelers and maintains the corporation’s ability to be cost conscious in their ground spend.”
GetThere Ground, a standard offering within GetThere, allows business travelers to book and pre-pay services globally in real-time including taxis, chauffeured sedans, limos and shuttle service. The new parking service options gives travel managers another way to control costs while increasing traveler satisfaction overall. As with current services available, prescreened suppliers and discounted rates on parking services are offered at no additional cost.
“We are excited to offer a parking solution for GetThere customers that provides additional insight and control over one of their travel components,” said Brett Bodenan, senior director for Park ‘N Fly. “Park ‘N Fly provides a hassle-free experience for travelers and helps companies save money.”
For many companies, ground transportation is an unmanaged expenditure. By bringing ground expenses online into GetThere, corporations can better manage and track the expenses, which leads to substantial savings and provides a convenient, easy to use tool for travelers.
GetThere Ground’s new interface more closely resembles today’s GetThere experience, making it simple for travelers to use without special training required. It is available on all GDSs, in multiple languages and currencies. Customers using GetThere Ground see an increase in productivity and up to a 10 percent saving when booking ground online.
