Giant Leap Technologies’ AutoPark and DriveCONTROL Impress Svepark Delegates During Live Demonstration at Mölndal Galleria in Sweden

Giant Leap Technologies has impressed delegates at Svepark’s 2019 Conference with a demonstration of their intelligent off-street ANPR solution, AutoPark, and mobile enforcement software DriveControl. Approximately 60 delegates representing parking operators, companies and municipalities attended the live demonstration at the Mölndal Galleria during the three-day event in May.

Opened in September 2018 the Mölndal Galleria provides shoppers with 65 shops, cafes, and restaurants set over 24,000 square meters and a parking facility with over 950 spaces. The modern facility at Mölndal Galleria, which is operated by Mölndals Parkerings AB, is equipped with ANPR technology meaning that payment can be made at the machine, by mobile phone or online, and registered users are billed automatically.

During Svepark, Giant Leap Technologies’ CEO Atgeir Takle took the opportunity to demonstrate both AutoPark and DriveCONTROL to delegates. AutoPark software, which is customizable to a client’s corporate identity, integrates ANPR cameras and pay stations to offer various payment services, as well as providing a Digital Permit solution. Modules cater to different markets, from hotel receptions to shopping centers, and customers are also able to download an app to start and pay for their parking session.

Giant Leap also demonstrated the DriveCONTROL Enforcement Suite with an electric vehicle equipped with two ANPR cameras mounted on the roof. DriveCONTROL software connects to vehicle-mounted ANPR cameras, enabling enforcement operations to cover larger areas more efficiently. Once a vehicle without a valid permit has been identified, the system can dispatch this observation to the nearest field worker following the DriveCONTROL scan-car.
