Global parking specialist launches system for smaller enterprises

Now even owners of smaller car parks can access the quality and convenience of a Zeag parking solution, thanks to ZEAG ORION Xbit.
ZEAG ORION Xbit.jpgTo be launched at Intertraffic 2010 (Hall 2 Stand 204) the ZEAG ORION Xbit is the latest innovation from the global parking solutions one stop shop - and the baby of the ORION product family.
The ZEAG ORION Xbit is designed for smaller enterprises (up to 100 spaces) with a need for a simple but professional car parking solution but who dont require a lot of peripherals, complex software and reporting systems.
Zeag chief marketing officer, David Jones, said: We were being approached for equipment by owners of smaller car parks for whom our existing systems were too big and powerful. We responded to this demand by developing a straightforward, smaller product the ZEAG ORION Xbit.
The system accepts all payment methods including cash, cards, credit tickets and tokens, and provides a basic level of services including transaction reporting.
The ZEAG ORION Xbit works with:
    * Magnetic parking access cards
    * Proximity (RFID) parking access cards
    * AVI (long range) parking access tags
    * Value cards (magnetic & prox)
The ZEAG ORION Xbit can work in standalone mode meaning installation is quick and easy with minimum disruption as no costly cable ground works are required.
The pay station is compact enough to be wall or pedestal mounted.
David Jones concluded: Our aim is to make parking convenient for the user and profitable for the owner whatever their circumstances. The new ZEAG ORION Xbit means even smaller enterprises can start earning revenue from car parking, quickly and efficiently.
