handshake ignites enthusiasm at German Event Manager Conference
Organised by German-based business consultant Trippe Consulting, the annual "Ticket M@nagement" forum brings together event management experts from the ticketing, marketing, and distribution sectors. This year's forum was held on February 19 and 20 at the Maritim Hotel in Bonn.
Gartenau/Salzburg — For many years SKIDATA has been represented at the exhibition and the symposium. This year the SKIDATA customers had their say. Listening to the talks of Siegfried Börst of Legoland Germany and Markus Weilguni of T-Mobile, the audience of industry specialists received information about practical experiences with SKIDATA™ products from an independent source.
In his presentation on the "Application of Modern IT Concepts for Profit-Oriented Visitor Management at Leisure Parks," Börst – a manager in charge of admission control at Legoland Germany – reported about his company's highly positive experience with the SKIDATA™ handshake™ system.

In the breaks between the talks, many audience members took the opportunity to enquire about handshake™ and its many advantages at the SKIDATA™ stand.
Top products featured at the T-mobile stand included the 'mobile Tix' system with integrated SKIDATA™ 2-D barcode technology. In a practical demonstration, visitors had the opportunity to have a ticket sent to their mobile phone, which they could then test on a gate at the exhibition stand. As often before, the revolutionary SKIDATA™ access solution had attending experts raving.
