Heald celebrate another test succes
After recently undergoing physical testing of their new 900mm raised roadblocker to the soon to be revised PAS 68 British Standard (currently for fixed bollards), Heald have achieved a world first with their new HCR4M1200RB. Tested again at the Transport Research Laboratory the blocker was pitted against an empty 18 tonner travelling at 80 kph.
The vehicle was demolished on impact with nil penetration and continued normal operation after removal of the radius plate. The onslaught of the truck was no match for Heald's unique anti - terrorist blocker design which incorporates impact absorption bars as well as a removable and replaceable front radius plate which is designed to draw energy away from the main body of the blocker. This ensures the roadblocker is able to continue normal operation directly after impact and will provide resilience against the threat of further impact.
