Pumpkins at the parking meter

CITEA proves its versatility at Tannerhof.
CITEAs areas of use are almost limitless. Hectronics parking meter now also ensures smooth payment transactions in the fruit and veg farm. The customers obviously do not pay parking charges, no, they pay their goods directly at the CITEA.

A CITEA installed at Tannerhof does an important job. It is responsible for the payment transactions. Customers at this fruit and veg farm with direct marketing
simply pays for his/her goods at the CITEA. After only a few weeks, Georges Tanner,
who manages the farm with his wife Anna and up to six helpers, can already see a clear advantage. When we analysed our sales in the past, we noticed that up to 20 percent of the sold goods were not paid for. This amount has been drastically reduced. The customer used to pay for the goods by putting money into a metal
tin. Those days are over. Now, the customer has to enter the relevant amount into
the keypad and then pay. And he then receives a receipt. He can pay with coins, banknotes but also with a Maestro or Postcard. The farm shop operator can check the transaction data directly on his PC, follow payments online and intervene if necessary. I am thrilled with all these new possibilities, says Georges Tanner happily.
